Performing Safety Measurements

Select 'Safety' from the construction site-level menu, and then click on 'New TR measeurement' on the right side of the page. Note: If measurement areas have been defined in the settings, the area must be selected first before performing the measurement.

Once the area is selected, you can perform the measurement with 'Correct' or 'Incorrect' markings.

Marking as 'Right' adds +1 to the selected item, and no further information needs to be provided. However, if any issues are noticed and 'Wrong' is pressed, a menu will open where more detailed information about the negative observation must be provided. All fields marked with an asterisk (*) must be reviewed and filled out for the observation so that it can be saved, and the measurement can continue.

When the measurement is complete, you can finalize it by clicking the 'Sign' button.

The measurement requires a signature from the person conducting it, but if, for example, a representative of the workers is present during the round, they can also sign the measurement on their behalf.

Once the necessary individuals have signed the measurement, you can click the 'Finish Measurement' button.

After completing the measurement, a report is generated, which can be viewed by clicking the 'View Report' button and can also be printed if needed.

Negative observations resulting from the measurement can be found under the 'Safety hazards' section in the 'Safety' menu.

Under 'Safety hazards,' you can view and filter observations made on the construction site by Company, Area, and Floor Plan. Additionally, if observations have been made from different sources (measurement, individual observation, teehavainto.fi), they can also be filtered by source.

Notifications of negative observations are sent by email to the appointed contractor's representative, who can electronically mark the observation as corrected once it has been fixed. Observations can also be edited, corrected, and managed through the above-mentioned view.

If safety measurements need to be reviewed, for example, for the entire duration of the construction site, safety summary graphs can be found under the 'Summary' button.
